Founded in 2003, Wal-Tech brings together the 19 accredited research centres operating in Wallonia. Through its Board of Directors, which brings together the directors of the research centres, the association’s objectives are :

  • To unite the accredited research centres in Wallonia and develop a common vision and common positions/proposals on all matters related to their operation for the benefit of businesses,
  • To act as an intermediary with the Walloon ecosystem for all matters of collective interest and to ensure coherence with the Belgian ecosystem of research centres through a structured framework for discussion with Vloot and Innovaders,
  • To strengthen the links/synergies between its members in order to provide a coherent and valuable service offering for Walloon businesses.
